Most programs teach students what to make. Young Guns is a specialized school that trains students how to think through the applied arts and design. That distinction is everything. Technical skill matters, and we develop it seriously. But technique in service of borrowed ideas produces forgettable work. What we build is something rarer: students who have a genuine point of view, the discipline to pursue it, and the ability to make work that couldn't have come from anyone else.

One objective: unlock each student’s creative potential so they can pursue meaningful, ambitious work in the age of AI. That means helping students clarify what they’re genuinely good at and create work that signals originality.
We don’t prescribe a path. We provide the structure for students to build their own.
Our Principles
The Three Qualities We Cultivate
Curiosity
Students are trained to observe deeply and question assumptions.
Agency
Students take ownership of their ideas, decisions, and direction.
Rigour
Ideas are refined through iteration, critique, and disciplined practice.
Technology and AI are integrated as tools.
Human judgment remains central.
